I have been an insulin dependent diabetic for 50 years, and am currently 
taking Humulin N -- 68 units per day and Humalog on a sliding scale 
depending on daily carbohydrate consumption. I am currently researching 
insulin pumps as my diabetic specialist has suggested that it may give me 
better control. However, having met only only one person who uses one, I 
know very little about them and want to hear other's experiences with 
various pumps before I commit myself. I also want to know people's 
experience's with health insurance coverage of pumps and medication
wlcome to this site
If you are insulin resistnt after 50 years i'd  look into a new pump made
in Korea which has a high insulin capacity the ADA ran an article on this
pump a few months ago ib dianetes foorcast. spot
