Re: [IP] Hba1c...4-6 weeks?

Well the A1C is a *weighted* average (not all blood cells die off
at the same time, some are dying off as others are forming) and
the 4-6wks before the test carries the most weight (50%) then
each ~30 day period after that carries less and less weight (25%,
15%, and 10%) towards the A1C - this info comes from Insulin
Dependent Diabetes by Ragnar Hanas. Anyway, I wonder if that is
what they mean?
