[IP] RE: ONE TOUCH ULTRA



I have one...I ran out and got it the minute I heard about it from this
list.


My thoughts:
I love the 5-second test!
It seems just as accurate as any other meter I have.
I like the fact that it tests accurately in colder temperatures (I'm up here
in New Hampshire, ya' know).
The strips are too small for my clumsy fingers, but I am adjusting.

I have already given some feedback to Lifescan that I would like to see a
light and more data management capabilities. I don't care if they make the
meter a little larger because I carry so much other stuff with me: lancets,
cotton balls, glucagons emergency kit, extra infusion set, more strips,
alcohol swabs ....

I've had the meter for a little over a week. If my opinion changes, I'll
post a note.

does anyone use the one touch ultra?  my CDE just offered to give me one but
said she's a little leary about the accuracy of 5 minute tests.........
