Let me get this straight he went 23 days without insulin??? That should be
crimial treatment there, especially since his file said type1. Was his
insulin dose in his file??? It seems to me that should have sent a flag to
someone in the facility. I truely hope your state realizes you saved this
kids life. I'm completely appaled at the non-careing and ignorance of the
medical staff, THEY should be the ones explaining to IAD why they let this
kid go 23 days without ANY insulin and not testing his BG. I truely hope
all goes well for you today and as others here have said, I would go to the
media and tell them what happened.
