When it lists 30 gms for carbs, and  12 g of sugar, look at the type. The 12 
g of sugar is incorporated in the total carb count!
Your bolus should be for the 30!

I usually square a small amt for high fat.

all i/m getting at here is do you bolus for all carbs listed (assuming not a 
high fat food) or do you do a square bolus for the rest?  or even a dual wave 
bolus? >>
