The package gives info for a specific number of gram (or amount) of whatever 
the food is.  The size of the food may be lower or higher than the amount on 
the label, as is bread: each slice varies in weight, so you have to do a 
little calculating here.
Have you read "Pumping Insulin" by Walsh? He has another book called "Stop 
the Rollercoaster" which is good too.
