Re: [IP] choosing between pumps



Robyn I do not know about the other pump, but I amsure both are good, Mine
is a minimed, and I am happy with it as it has the dual and squar wave
methods of giving the bolus,  At meal time I use the dual and only take half
of my needed amount at first then use the square wave over and hour for the
rest, by doing this if anythiong causes me to stop during the meal I do not
have all that load of insulin to worry about, when this happens (and it
does) I can just shut down the pump and not recieve the remainder of the
bolus the pump returns to normal and I can get by with a snack !
