Re: [IP] Cloudy tummy

Bob,
Before going on the pump I stayed away from my abdomen for about a month
only injecting there every few days(read 3-5 days) to prepare for the pump.
I did injections for almost 20 years and was always told to rotate sites I
used my thighs, butt, and arms as well as my abdomen. I would say you
definitely need to follow your nurse practioners advice and rotate injection
sites. The reason for this as I was told when first diagnosed was that the
skin becomes hard if you inject in the same place all the time and also the
slowing of insulin absorbsion.
