Re: [IP] Rapids??

Please note:

The Disetronic Rapid is a metal needle infusion set. It inserts at a 90
degree angle to the skin surface. It uses a stainless steel needle (nickle
free), molded into the end of the tubing, not glued. This is important for
some people who have sensitivity or allergy to nickle and / or glues.

It's available with needle lengths of 6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm and tubing
lengths of 60 cm (24"), 80 cm (31"), and 110 cm (43"), to fit a wide
variety of body types.

There is no disconnect feature. The set uses a standard Luer connector, so
it's compatible with all insulin pumps on the market. There is an adhesive
base on the set, and no additional tape is required. The profile of the
infusion set is lower to the skin than the Tender, Silhouette, Pureline
Comfort sets (which *are* the same sets) and MiniMed SofSet, SofSet Micro.
