Re: [IP] why do fats affect bgs so much?

     My understanding is that fats absorb slower and  consequently it takes 
     longer for your blood sugar to rise from a fatty meal.  The insulin you 
     took may have peaked before your blood sugar rise and you don't have the 
     right amount of insulin in your system when you need it.  This is why pizza 
     is a problem.
