You are right. This is precisely what happens to me. Enough humalog in a
bolus to avoid the spike crashes me later. Reduce the bolus to prevent the
crash and I am sky high an hour after the meal but back in normal range
between hours 3 and 4. Did Paul's doctor ever offer an explanation?
