The "feeling" is very unreliable. One time you can really be low and 
the next not know you are low. Conversely you can be comming down 
from a high with a rapid rate of change and have symptoms of a low at 
150 or 200. Testing give an accurate picture, "feelings" do not.

Yes. carb counting and unused insulin rule come into play to figure 
out the exact carb intake needed to stop the low and still avoid a 
rebound do to excessive carb intake
