Re: [IP] EMLA creme

I have been using EMLA creme for over 5 years now (on my two children) with
out a problem. We have not been allergic, or experienced any of the other
problems that our physician had said might occur with the use of lidocaine.
Neither of my children have been "needle phobic".
EMLA creme brings pain relief and encourages site rotation with out fear.
How will you know if you are allergic or have other problems with the EMLA
until you give it a try?
A couple of rules should be followed though, Use only a small amount...more
does not mean better pain relief ! Also, don't leave the EMLA creme on
longer that the directions state, longer application time does not mean
better pain relief either! And lastly, try it on yourself with an infusion
set and see first hand what a wonder tool this really can be.
