The youngest on the mail list to date is 2 years old. There are quite a 
few that started at 3 years old (one of whom is 17 now) more at 4 years 
old, etc..... Depends on who is doing the recommending. If it's someone 
disconnected from the child's care they always seem to think a pump is 
not for kids. If it's a parent, the proof is in the pudding. Re-read above.
