Hi, Lisa,

I dunno about whether being big puts the BABY at risk of Type 1, but
having had 2 such large babies puts YOU at risk of Type 2 DM. Make sure
your doc tests you periodically, and monitor your own BGs 2 hours after
a big meal from time to time -- either that or an elevated fasting BG
will be the first tip-off that something is wrong. But I'm hoping you
come down on the lucky side of the risk factor!
