[IP] Drawbacks of the pump

HI.....
just had to get my .02 cents worth in here......I haven't found one drawback on wearing a pump...I can't remember who said about doctors not wanting to change with technology...but I had one of those...I had been with him for 17 years, but when I mentioned the pump...he told me that I would regret it for the rest of my life!!! In the meantime, I felt awful all of the time....I had been diabetic for about 30 years at the time...I researched the pump and found the best endo in my area and asked for a letter of recomendation from him....he sent it and I've never looked backed....As far as I'm concerned the pump saved my life.....ask anyone who knows me.....
sure it's not a cure, but when you've felt bad for so long and then feel so wonderfully great....who's to argue?????

it takes work....but it's well worth it....WELL WORTH IT.......

I want to live to see grandkids and I feel now that I'll live longer than most and I'm ALOT healthier than most non diabetics......

I love my pump and always want to tell people about it.....especially kids......

what a LIFE SAVER.........
like I said before if you never lived way back when with diabetes, you just don't know...!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for this list and all the caring supportive people on it....this is great....

Bottom line.......EDUCATION IS THE KEY.........
I'm very, very thankful for my pump and modern technology...........
