It's more important to develop a way of eating that is permanent, rather 
than just doing a crash diet for a few days.

BTW, because I don't like milk and don't get nutrients from fortified 
(helps build strong bodies 12 ways) bread, I take a D3, calcium and 
magnesium supplement.
