I had a frozen hip about five years back, I remember how painful it was.  I
did physical therapy for three or four months and was also given stretching
exercises to do at home followed by gentle strengthening exercises.  The
doctor gave me pain pills but I preferred to stay with Aleve or any
Ibuprofen will do.  Stretching is the key, you have to stretch no matter
how much pain it produces.  Keep us posted on your progress and good luck
