[IP] insulin and complications

For quite some time there was controversy relative to high levels of insulin in
the blood stream and cardiovascular disease, among other things.

For those who are "in the know," please comment on the latest thoughts by
professionals with respect to this topic.

Past implications are that people who are insulin resistant and need to inject
larger amounts of insulin (e.g. 100+ units/day) would be the ones most affected
by this premise.

Of course, the obvious is there is no choice in the matter anyway. Like myself,
with a ratio of 1:4, I could cut back on carbs "til the cows come home" and
would still have to inject a lot of insulin.

Thanks for the input!
