Since I didn't know what their state law was, I couldn't comment.

Knowing the Texas penal code and traffic code well enough to pass the 
Peace Officer's test, I couldn't  imagine that having low blood would 
ever get you off -- not knowing your physical condition isn't a defense 
or even an affirmative defense (one that you have to prove).  It might 
get a reduction in penaly, but get you off.

Remember that driving is a priviledge we earn and not one we get as a 
right.  Thus we must show responsibility when we drive.  It might be 
different if undiagnosed and having no way of telling....but how could 
you prove that?
