Hi Barbara and Brian,
The Australian and Canadian $ are comparable.  Brian to bring a Meditronic
Pump into Australia  through Customs it must be an "approved" Pump (on the
TGA list), otherwise you will need an IPU.  I think the 511 is being sold
here (so it has been approved), you would need to check about the 512.
