Re: [IP] Minimed pump prices (US vs Australian)

Hi Brian,
If you had your Dr complete an IPU (Individual Patient Useage) form in
Australia, this could be used as the equivalent to a US Drs prescription.
The AUS dollar is running at about AUS 72c to the US $ at present.

18 months ago I bought Animas Pumps into Australia (before they came onto
the market here). I am aware as a result of this process that an IPU will
cover as the equivalent of a US prescription.

Alternatively you could talk to Meditronic about providing their newer Pumps
in Australia. Most Pump companies set their Pump prices comparatively to
the rest of the Pump market in that country. If I can help with any other
info, you could email me off line at email @ redacted
Warm Regards,

Janette
