You also note a 10 pound weight loss. His insulin
requirements are likely to be less and his insulin
sensitivity lower with the weight loss. He might consider a
lower basal rate in the time frame he is going low. If low
after all meals, then his insulin to carbohydrate ratio may
also need to be less, and his correction factor for high BG
will also need to be adjusted.
