Re: [IP] After 14 days pumping; am now crashing. Should I need to reduce basals?



I was told that any long lasting insulin can remain in your system for a few
days, but I doubt it would take two weeks.  I was high after first going on
the pump, then we raised my basals for awhile, then we had to lower them
again later, as well as the insulin/carb ratio.  I would say it does have to
do with better use of the insulin.
