When I would go skiing, I care granola bars and fruit roll ups.  Yes, they are
full of sugar, but the calories are burned up with the extra activity.  Of
course, my ski jacket has several pockets so I have plenty of room.   You
could also try lowering your basal rate 10% and just burn the extra calories.
Whatever you decide to do, have a great time skiing.
