I work at Atlanta airport, and sometimes I'll go through screening to
get to
my work area, and when I approach the screeners, I'll tell them I have
insulin pump and steel toes, and they'll use the hand-held scanners to

All of these times doing this, I think the agent may have asked to see
pump maybe once.

A bigger problem was when I went to the Federal building.  Security is
supertight there, and it took about ten minutes and my wife vouching for
to get through.

Keep in mind that they are doing this for everyone's safety, not to
you, but I would guess that 99% of them don't know what an insulin pump
