absolutely, cut the protein!!!
 I had a kidney scare a few years ago and it was reversed with cutting down
dramatically the protein I consumed.
I was told to eat legumes which are rich in plant protein so I wouldn't
deprive my system.
 i still avoid red meats (which is my favorite!) and the results have been
