It has to do with being refrigerated. Humalog only lasts 28 days outside the
refrigerator; however, kept refrigerated, it lasts to the expiration date on
the bottle. So when you have it in your pump, on your body--unrefrigerated,
it begins losing its effectiveness. Bummer, isn't it?
