Hi Phyliis!I am one who was very reluctant to change, and held on to my Animas
as long as I could.B When it finally took its last breath, I started with
Tandem, and just the basal IQ. My A1c dropped from 8, down to 7.0 in 3
months.B Fast forward, to CIQ, and some learning the new system and how to
adjust my basal rates, as well as my carb ratios, my last A1c was 6.1B That
is the LOWEST it has been in DECADES! I have had type 1 since 1977.B B While
I will admit, it was frustrating at first learning a new system (I don't like
change). I can honestly say, I have far fewer highs and lows. And while some
days it is still a roller coaster ride, now it seems more like the little
kiddie roller coaster, as opposed to the wild fluctuationsB I would get
before CIQ. I have NO regrets, and would be more than happy to answer any
questions you may have.B

To those using Control IQ - does it make your life easier or more
I watched the tutorial but still am apprehensive. Ibm 78, have had type 1 for
57 years plus other health issues. My endo said I should get it, but my prime
concern at this point is to simplify. Ibd love to hear from the folks who are
actually using it. Many thanks. Phyllis from MA
