My endo's office prescribes MiniMed, Animas and Cozmore pumps with no
discrimination on any. If a person has no preference, they may recommend
MiniMed, but they will not treat you as if you are stupid or less of a person if
you expressly want a different brand of pump. I use an Animas, I know of three
other people who go to the same clinic I do and one has an Animas, one has a
Cozmo and one has a MiniMed.
I'd look for a new doctor. It's your money and your choice. Not hers.
