RE: [IP] High blood sugars and coffee

The Dawn Phenomenon is due to an increase in the release of growth hormone,
and to a lesser extent by cortisol and adrenaline, which trigger the
production and release of glucose from the
liver according to sources. Basically, it's the body getting ready for the
day. I have this problem, as do many others, and it cannot be taken care of
by injections. I'm still working on getting that fasting down a little bit
more using the pump.

What is "dawn Phenomena"? I wonder if that is what I have. My basal is
higher 2a - 5a but like last night I was 65 at 11:00 pm and 207 at 7:30
(just rolling out of bed. Does anyone else have this problem?
