Some of the new rides use very strong magnetics to get the "centrifugal force"
or the large roller coasters use them too I believe.  Another list I was on
(CWD) talked at length about this and when they had the seminar at Disney they
found out which rides had the magnetized rides so that the kids could
disconnect for those.

  I've never heard of, or experienced, a "magnetic ride".  Please unlighted we
who don't know how "magnetic" and "centrifugal force" are correlated..  Maybe
it is something new since I was young.
