    My daughter had 3 site infections in the first year of pumping....once 
she switched from the Sofsets to the Silhouettes after that first year, the 
site infections completely ended, as did the no-delivery alarms & need for 
Tegaderm "sandwiches" (a layer under & over the infusion set)....She was told 
to avoid using that area for 6 months, so you may want to check on that with 
your doctor....In addition to the hot compresses, another "home remedy" until 
you get an antibiotic, is to use hydrogen peroxide on the area, which helped 
to cleanse the infected area....By doing this ASAP on the 3rd infection, 
Melissa avoided the need for an antibiotic
