[IP] closed loop

Before you get real enthusiastic about minimeds accomplishments in thios
artea I would say all the major pump manufacturers are at this point. The
hurdle is the glucose sensor. It gets coated with proteins and socked in by
fibrous tissue There was a giant machine called the Biostator which kept
blood sugars on an even keel 24 hours a day, for weeks. It was about as
portable as a welding power supply. spot

     ok, so theyre all at that point...but minimed and disetronic both have RELIABLE glucose sensors....theyve already solved that prob.   theyre just trying to perfect the algorithm between the pump and the sensor.
