Re: [IP] Novolog vs. Humalog

Ed:
Adding my 2 cents to further substantiate what you've observed. Melissa
switched to Novolog in the late spring. At that time her A1C was 8.2 (been
pumping 6 yrs at that point), attributable to LOTS of non-D factors ( being a
college freshman, eating & sleeping erratically, not being as diligent
etc).....
TA DA: latest A1C: 7.1...attributable to being home for the summer?...to
eating healthier???...to having lost some weight?....OR to using
Novolog???....Her CDE said they are definitely seeing BIG improvements on
Novolog among their patients, both in sites lasting without that predictable
day 3 rise seen so often on Humalog AND in overall improved control....The
real test will be the NEXT A1C when she's been back at college for a few
months!!
Regards
Renee (Melissa's pump mom)
