It all depends on what the pump is set to deliver U100 or U50

the U100 has 100 units per ML
the U50 has 50 units per ML

If the pump is set to deliver U100 insulin and your pumping U50 insulin you
will deliver double your does.

Remember that Units is a Measurement of amount not volume.
