Hi,
Sorry but my friends would never take me out to dinner without but I do sign
up for a pot luck dinner and end up scrapping thr cake or pulling out this or
that I eat the scraps of a great meal doing the best appro. and taking the
shot as soon as I can and about 1 hr later measuring the blood sugar(BS) then
I would take more insulin to make up for the error in my appromiate valve(40
BS/unit insulin)

I I "guesstimate" using carbs 15/1U H., then enjoy.
Today we unexpectedly stopped at Checkers,  I used my 15/1,took 3 H,
then figured on calculator and was only less than .4 off--not pumping,
could not do .4 anyway, close enough. Linda
