Bias against Type 2's. It's that old couch-potato/gourmand excuse -- and
total ignorance about what diabetes really is. 

I spoke with a doc about the Medicare issue -- the supposed reason they
deny pumps to Type 2's is because there is no evidence of better
outcomes -- that's real nice for ivory-tower academics, but then there's
the folks who are just trying to stay healthy and feel well. . .
