I've been looking for this answer for a long time: are the genetics of
auto-immune disease all the same, or are there specific genes that make
a person susceptible to specific auto-immunities?

How often do you see different auto-immune diseases in the same family?
For example Type 1 diabetes and rheumatoid arthritis -- I know one
family with two of each.

Also how often do you see multiple auto-immune diseases in the same
person, and if you already have one, how much does that raise your risk
of getting another?
