I have a few stretch marks which is one reason I was discouraged from using the breast sites ot the IP site, and I have a few tinier ones to the side of my abs...I used to be VERY obese as a teen, pushing 258 @ 5'3" and 14 years old.
I tend to avoid the lower quadrents of my abs, and the sides of my hips.
I do use midriff, upper abdomin (Just below the beltline of jeans)..., Upper thighs and upper buttock, I have also gone to the lower/central ab, away from the 'line' below the belly button, but just above the bikini line.
I tried the upper arms, No, not again.
Stretch marks are a form of breakage in the lower layers of the skin, but I have actually gone to a part where some are and had no trouble, The scar tissue I speak of is the hardening of tissue from many years of injecting/infusing into the same spot for many months/years.
*I* would say if your stretch marks are small, have passed the redness and pigmentation stage and are not really deep down *They usually aren't* give it a go, and note your BGs for the times you're in that site. If it works for you, go for it.
The deeper scarring is what can affect the absorbtion of insulin from a particular site.

Scar Tissue--that's news to me, does that include
stretch marks? If so, I have tons of those-so should
I avoid my abdomin??? The scar tissue can interfere
with numbers? What areas do you use? This is new to
me, I've only been pumping a few months.
