[IP] Pumping at Day Care!/Basal Woes

That is good news about the day care.

It seems that you have good reason to suspect your meter or your technique.

Maybe try to use two meters at the same time.  Or do two tests on the same
meter.  Test your self on his meter.  Use the testing solutions.

As you mentioned, cleaning the finger is paramount to getting good reads.  Kids
eat with their hands and they eat all kinds of sugary, starchy stuff.

Was the data from the cgms smooth or erratic?  One of them had to be wrong.  If
you used the meter to calibrate the CGMS then all is suspect.

Keep trying.  After they are set, life is much easier.  Of course, there is
always something to mess the numbers up.
