Don't worry about the NPH.  I got two bottles of U a few weeks before going
on the pump (I didn't even think...) and my CDE said it is a good idea to
have some on hand just in case you would need to go off the pump for any
reason.  At least you will have it if you need it.

You are like me.  When I got the go-ahead to go on the pump, they scheduled
me for a training class four months down the road.  I did not want to wait. 
It took almost that long for me to actually get the pump, so it wasn't like
it was sitting in the corner waiting for me, but still, it is hard to wait
when you hear how wonderful the pump is and how much of a difference it can
make.  But, August is here, and it will not be long.
