RE: [IP] 48 basal rates



My seven yr. old daughter has a string of several hours when we vary the
basal from 0.1-0.2-0.1-0.2-0.1-0.2 to get an average of 1.5.  Going from 0.2
to 0.1 is a 50% reduction in basal, one is too high and the other is too
low.  So we have to be creative.  

Another use for so many is you could program a ramp of rates.  I am sure
that the body doesn't change in steps but in smooth curves.

And i personally PITY THE FOOL (medical professional or diabetic alike) who 
feels this type of control is beneficial to either your physical body or
your 
mental state!!!!
