Hello Stephen, You have the same worries I did when I first got the pump but
your doc should be able to answer your questions and if not thats what this
web site is for you can talk to fellow diabetics . anyway YES you can skip
any meal you want and if you want you don't have to eat all day or you can
eat as much as you want as long as you count carbs. thats a big thing carbs
! It will confuse the s___ out of you but you will eventually get it . I
have only been on the pump for a month and a half and already I have lost
10pds that doesn't sound like much but I have been trying to lose that 10pds
for a year beleive me you will love the freedom its great especially when
you don't have to wake up in the morning and the first thing you have to do
is eat and take a shot. I don't eat until my husband gets home from work
which is around 5pm god its great .. Well I hope every thing works out and
you enjoy it as much as I do .. lisa
