Thanks for reply.  So, you are saying that I should be safe going to sleep
at 100.  If I am lower (70 or 80) at 3 am should I do some glucose tabs to
cover me?  This is the only scarely part for me.  It has been years since I
have known consistent good numbers - I do hope this lasts - its great.....

Set your alarm for around 3am and check you bg. I've been on a pump for
18 years and it seemed so unreal to finally feel so good after 21 years of
around 300. It sounds like your doctor is starting you out at a good basal
that you won't have lows. He sounds like he would rather work your blood
sugars down instead of up. That's really good.
