As with any exercise, Your Mileage May Vary.  It is best to
take a couple of extra tests and find out how your body

I swim 4 or 5 times per week, for just under 30 mins. 
During this time, I go 1500 yds (60 laps).  I always wear my
pump (Disetronic).  While swimming, I can drop 100 points,
but I try to carbo load before I start, and often come out
about where I started.  For me, the intesity of the swim,
the carbos that I've eaten (which may not have reached my
bloodstream yet), and likely a million other things all
influence what my sugar will do, both during the swim and

Hi this is pumpgirl from Sunny Sydney. I was wondering if
anyone swims
with the pump still on them and how this affects their
levels. Do you
need to be a certain sugar level before swimming.  I'm only
talking like
about 16 laps maximum.
