RE: [IP] Medicare (of course)

Hi Steve,

Yes, I get most of my care through the VA. The problem is, my disability is
not related to my diabetes, since I was diagnosed after my discharge from
the service. Because of that, they will treat me, but will bill my
insurance. I did go to the VA endo for a while, but he wouldn't even order
a CGM for me, said I didn't need it because I had good control (!!), so I
doubt going back to him would help me in any way. I stopped seeing him and
am seeing a civilian endo now. I get everything else through the VA. I'm
only considered 70% service-connected; if I were 100% I probably wouldn't
need other insurance.

Thanks.

Sue

Are you being seen through the VA if you're a disabled vet? If you are not,
get in their system ASAP and they will help you with pump and supply
problems.
