Re: [IP] Muesli

I've never tried Muselix, which is a Kellogs flavor.

But on my last visit my Endo suggested Muesli for breakfast since it has a
slower carb release than normal cereal. My favorite cereal had been Cheerios
which would spike my blood sugar like crazy.
I often use Bob's Red Mill muesli. However, it is pretty carby, so I take a
small portion. 1/4 cup (20g carb) or maybe 1/3. Let it sit in the milk for
a while, otherwise it's a bit dry.
However, on most days it matches my insulin very closely. Bob's is not that
hard to find in groceries.

My favorite is Seitenbach Musli, which comes in a bunch of flavors (designated
by Numbers e.g., #1 #2 etc). I can only find this on the shelf at Wegman's.
(Amazon has it fro mail order).

I thought muesli is a generic name for a type of granola and I don't eat
either one (too many carbs caused by sugar). Denise B.
