[IP] cost of insulin

I hear that almost everyone who goes on Medicare needs the Cpeptide test.
So my question is, has anyone had this test and been turned down by
Medicare for diabetes supplies? Seems rather strange and wasteful to have a
Type
1 whose been diabetic for 20 years to have this test, do they think one
day it just vanishes? If no one's diabetes has vanished and no one has been
denied Medicare coverage for diabetes supplies, what's the purpose of the
test?

>>>They pay for insulin + infusion sets only if you have Medicare part B
are on an insulin pump with a Cpep low enough to prove type 1.
