[IP] Re: Cleo infusion set

 My 11 year old recently became a pumper (deltec cozmo) and we're looking for
some help on infusion sets. Currently she is using the Cleo 90 (6mm). Sometimes
the infusion site is great, no problems. But she has a problem at least half the
time on these. Sometimes, she starts getting high readings, we change her set
and find blood in the cannula. The new set corrects the going high problem.
Occassionally the site hurts beyond the initial insert and doesn't get better
until it's changed. Maybe my expectations were too high, but she also bleeds 90%
of the time when she inserts. She has bruises and red needle marks all over her
butt. (Couldn't get her to try abdomen or anyplace else more than once). We're
using the smallest insertion needles,
  Any thoughts suggestions?

'kicked out' of the local facility to an internist way over in Anaheim... Dr.
 Chun's excuse? "You need to see an internist. you have too many issues for us

Hum, sounds like "Dr. Chun" needs to realize that there are SPECIALISTS out
there.
My reg doc could not find out why I was chronically getting pneumonia (about 6
times per year), so she sent me to a Infectious disease specialist and a
immunologist
My psorisis (plaque) was not going away, and flaring alot with one medication,
